Woooo! so I worked with poor ~Lydiamay, who unfortunately got paired with loser me. Sorry for disappearing so much this month and being generally useless. But we managed something, and she did a fantastic job! We bounced ideas back and forth, I did some rough sketches, and then we each drew/ colored our own characters before slapping them together.
Sooooo we have Cleo and Risa from District 12. Neither are very confident in the parade setting, so I was kind of hoping to design something that ‘overwhelmed’ them a bit. The main theme obviously comes from the coal element, but we tried to incorporate some of the architectural elements of the coalmines as well. Buuuutttt I may have abstracted that a bit in my final designs so it’s probably not that clear anymore. Haha. I tried!
